Terms and Conditions

Please read the following Cougar Tours terms and conditions thoroughly. By proceeding with your booking you acknowledge that you understand and agree with the terms and conditions.

PAYMENTS – DEPOSIT & BALANCE

A 50% deposit (non refundable) is payable at time of booking to secure your place on the tour. Final balance is due no later than 45 days prior to tour departure. Non payment will result in cancellation of your booking.

LATE BOOKINGS

Subject to availability, late bookings will be accepted only if full payment is made immediately on booking.

CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS

Cancellations 45 days prior to tour departure will result in loss of deposit. Cancellations within 45 days of tour departure or once the tour has commenced will result in 100% loss of tour cost. No refunds will be given for any pre-booked accommodation, meals, entry fees or other pre-booked services not utilised. No allowances or refunds will be made for lost or unused tickets or coupons.

PAYMENT METHODS

Direct deposit is our preferred method for payment, however cheque or money order are also acceptable.

MINIMUM GROUP NUMBERS

All tours are subject to a minimum number. Should minimum numbers not be reached for the tour, the tour will be cancelled and monies refunded. Alternatively the tour may be re-costed or rescheduled. If you choose not to proceed, monies will refunded.

ACCOMMODATION

Tour accommodation will be based on a twin share basis. On check in you will be required to present your credit card to reception which will be charged for non included tour items including mini bar, room service, phone, internet, any room charge backs or personal items.

You will also be responsible for any costs incurred for excess cleaning fees or damage. All rooms are non smoking.

SINGLE SUPPLEMENT

Participants may choose not to share a hotel room therefore a single supplement payment will apply. If travelling on your own and wish to share a room we will endeavour to match you with another traveller. We do not accept any responsibility for suitably pairing up roommates. A single supplement will apply should you wish to not continue sharing the room during the tour.

HEALTH

Cougar Tours does not have the capacity to provide nursing or other care on the tour. If you require such assistance you will need to have your carer accompany you on the tour at your cost. In booking the tour you warrant that you have the physical capacity to participate fully in the tour without any assistance from the tour escort or other participants.

Cougar Tours reserves the right to decline to accept a booking if it believes that the welfare of the person or other participants cannot be guaranteed during the tour.

TOUR ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE

Individuals are responsible for organising their own transport to and from the start and finish destination of each tour as per the tour itinerary.

RISK AND INDEMNITY

You agree that you participate in the tour at your own risk. Cougar Tours acts as co-coordinator in making arrangements with other service providers for travel, accommodation and sightseeing. While we take care in selecting service providers with good reputation, we accept no responsibility for any accident, injury, death, illness, damage, loss or delay however arising from the use of those services.

All tickets, coupons, vouchers, receipts are issued subject to the conditions imposed by the service provider, which may exclude liability. We do not accept liability for matters arising from circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to weather, machinery breakdown, strikes, accidents, fire or theft. Cougar Tours is not responsible for any decision made by a service provider to refuse to carry you or provide any service to you.

GENERAL CONDITIONS

Cougar Tours reserves the right to amend or cancel tours at any time. These booking conditions and the booking details contain the entire agreement between you and Cougar Tours. No representation, term, condition or warranty can be implied.
